Rapid reclaim how long

Helping the client with a PIP2 next week, good opportunity to listen to Vivaldi for a while I suppose. Started claim and requested UC50 straight away because needed assessment to properly assess entitlement. None forthcoming despite reminders although claim has been kept open. Put a note in journal quoting guidance that UC50 should be submitted by day 29 and insisting they accept or to take journal entry as formal complaint for not sending one. Two days later UC50 arrived in the post with address for it to be sent to.

If one makes a rapid reclaim to ESA during the 12 week RR period, what rate of benefit should they be paid once the RR has been processed?

I cannot see any specific guidance on this point. Obviously if someone is making a RR and they have never had a WCA, one would expect them to be paid the assessment rate. However, if the claimant has had a WCA one expect the claimant to continue to receive the rate they were before the stopped receiving ESA.

I ask as I was in the support group and have made a RR and have been told off one DWP staff that I will receive the assessment rate and from another that I will continue to receive SG rate.

Both have said I must submit Med3s. However, they are requesting a new Med3. Fortunately that is not a problem for me, but I find it odd given they have not asked for those for over a year. I was told to ignore this.
